The application Zoom

Lyon Bleu made the choice of the application Zoom. For each course you will receive a link to Zoomthe easy-to-use virtual classroom and videoconferencing application that the Lyon Bleu has chosen for distance learning courses.

Zoom is available on computers, tablets and mobile phones.

We recommend downloading the software Zoom free of charge for an optimal experience.

Zoom was chosen for its qualities very close to what can be developed in a traditional class:

• Permanent visual and oral contact with the teacher throughout the course
• Interaction with the teacher and other students
• Ability to speak and ask questions like in a real classroom
• Possibility for the teacher to work with the usual syllabus from Lyon Bleu for each level and to offer the usual material custom-made by the teacher each week.
• Possibility for the teacher to animate his lesson in a structured way while keeping the spontaneity of a traditional course
• Possibility for the teacher to correct, write on the (virtual) blackboard and work on all language skills, oral and written comprehension and expression.

So, Students will be able to communicate with their teacher and progress in their learning. in French while at home in a safe environment.

Our teachers will be able to be in contact with the students through Zoom or another application to send resources to be used and exercises to be done before or after the course.

For the course to take place in good connection conditions, the following material is required:

• A computer, tablet or mobile phone with the application Zoom
• An Internet connection
• A webcam with a microphone
