The FIGS campus LYON :
The CAMPUS HEP Lyon - René Cassin is a unique place dedicated to training. Created in 2004, it welcomes 6,000 students and trainees - from baccalaureate to baccalaureate+6 - on over 15,000m².
Composed of multidisciplinary schools and training centres, the CAMPUS HEP Lyon - René Cassin is a major campus in Auvergne/Rhône-Alpes and is part of a network international.
The campus has an incubator and Learning Labs: laboratories dedicated to innovation and pedagogical experimentation on new forms of learning for all audiences, whether in initial or continuing education.
This modern building is much more than a pooling of resources. It serves a promise and a will common to all the schools that inhabit and compose it: facilitated professional integration and sustainable employability. The Campus is a space of exchange and openness allowing the organization of cultural, artistic and sporting events.
THE LEARNING LAB
A laboratory for innovation and educational experimentation, the Learning Lab has 3 missions:
- Train teachers to meet future teaching standards,
- Innovate by testing new pedagogical scenarios based on collaborative methods,
- Share by capitalizing on the experiences and good practices of all the schools and training centers present on the Campus.
THE INCUBATOR
Promote entrepreneurship and the spirit of enterprise!
The Incubator is a co-working space dedicated to the acceleration and support of entrepreneurial projects.
At the heart of the Auvergne/Rhône Alpes entrepreneurial network, it supports more than 15 business creation projects each year.
THE INFO LIBRARY
A true learning hub, the Infotheque is :
- A 420 m² work space;
- More than 11,000 books available for loan;
- 150 French and international press titles available for consultation on site;
- A dedicated team to advise and support students in their research;
- A document portal allowing students to access the world's major databases from home.
THE ORIENTATION CENTRE
The objectives of the René Cassin Campus Guidance Centre are:
- To help high school students build their career plans by offering services adapted to each profile, under the responsibility of an independent team of coaches and work psychologists;
- To accompany the students of the Campus in their studies;
- To advise students in coordination with the career and graduate service in their professional integration.
